Quick question re no shows
My in-laws are due to fly to Menorca next week. They have 2 tickets booked but one of them can't go. Will the other traveller be OK to just turn up at the airport on their own and present the ticket? I'm guessing she would be, but thought I'd check to put her mind at rest. The flight is with Monarch.

I'm planning to visit a few countries in July\August this year (South Africa, Argentina, Brazil and North America) and a few people have recommended booking my flights through American sites rather than UK ones to save money. Is this good advice? Any recommendations on which sites to use?
