Can you still claim JSA even though you are training to be a gym instructor?
I have a relative who is training to be a gym instructor but he is claiming JSA at the same time. Is he doing anything wrong by this, or is this part of the deal when claiming JSA? I can't remember being allowed to claim JSA when I was a student. Just wondering if the rules have suddenly changed??

Employer hasn't made NI or Tax contributions
I have reason to believe that my employer has not paid NI or tax contributions on my wage on June 1st. My boss leaves work an hour early twice a week to go fetch his son from school. We don't operate a flexi time system. He doesn't really make the hours up so he is effectively leaving work 2 hours early each week. Our company is quite big and quite relaxed in terms of people having time off for doctors appointments/personal…

Details about medical appointments
Does anyone know the law on whether your HR manager can demand to know the detail of a doctor's appointment taken in working hours (one that's unavailable out of office hours). I have offered to make up the time (2 hours including travel) but they're still insisting that I divulge the nature of the appointment.
