Financial incentive at work
So we have a promotion at work for a specific product, offering 5% of the sales value as a financial reward. Now if I opt to take this as extra commission it will be taxable and if I take this as vouchers I am tied to spending them in the specific shops/online. Does anyone have a suggestion to make the most of the…

Live-in couple jobs
Hi everyone, Does anyone have experience of living as a live-in domestic couple or au-pair? We are interested in it, in order to save money on rent. I've seen many full-time jobs for couples in luxury estates, working alongside butlers, chefs, etc. Firstly, we don't drive...which is an issue for these large estates outside…

Hello - My partner has had her work hours reduced and is wanting to do something from home to top up income. She has thought about ironing but would rather work from home but get out and about if that makes sense - rather than being in house all day. She has talked to a few people lately who have cleaners and pay anything…

Qualifying survey questions
I do surveys for a few companies and it bugs me a little that most of the qualifying data is available on my profile so to not have to enter basic details again for each new survey. But I did a survey via Panelbase yesterday that took 10 minutes to answer a range of general and specific questions before it decided I did…

Retirement....Then What?
I'm new to the forum so apologies if this has been covered previously. I'm looking at generating income after retiring. Rather than rely on a pension, I'd like to try and start a simple online business of some kind. I've researched this widely and whilst there's a lot of information out there about Ebay shops,…

User Testing problems during test :(
I registered with User Testing last week and was asked to complete the training video. I downloaded the recorder, which was fine, but my problems began when I started trying to carry out the test. Firstly it wasn't possible to watch the training video - although I could afterwards, when I closed the square they leave in…

Mysurvey: inactive account
Hi all, is it just me? I can't log in mysurvey any more. It say that my account is inactive. I have sent a ticket but no reply yet. It might be a coincidence but I am also expecting a payment from my survey. I hope it is a glitch. I have googled the error and it looks like it's a common issue and nobody has been able to…

Advice needed RE contracting in spare time
Hi, I hope I'm posting this in the right place! I'm in full time employment in a role I started in November. Today I've been contacted by someone from the company I just left offering me a very good hourly rate if I could help them out on a short term basis (basically they didn't replace me and are now regretting it). The…

Wombling
I've read a bit about wombling and I may be interested but with regards to the payment you receive how is it received? For example, I get a receipt and it has 50p back on it. Can you build up this money or do you have to receive that 50p coupon straight away? Also, do they send the coupon in the post or by email or do you…
