Selling Second Hand Books with Little Hassle

Options
My mum has moved home and I have received back all my old acting and singing books.
Many of these are £20-30 each and new or nearly new condition.

i tried originally to sell on eBay but there was little interest and I downloaded the bookdepository app but they were valuing them at 10p and 20p each.

can anyone suggest any other sites or apps I can check which might be a bit more generous.

Thanks

I'm not sure what the selling requirements are but Abe Books and Better World also sell second hand books. Whether they are a hassle to use or not I couldn't say as I've only bought from them, but they might be worth a try.

Have you tried Amazon? Check the ISBN of your book and see what the average price for it is. If they're worth a lot then you can put them on for whatever you want, and they can stay on the site for as long as it takes to sell them.

Second hand means selling something that has already been owned or used, not that you are the second person to have owned them.

Books are hard to sell, you could keep relisting them on eBay for a set price and hope someone buys them, try gumtree and sell them local or perhaps some local acting facebook groups? You won't get much selling them to the bulk buyers.
People don't know what they want until you show them.

    Thanks everyone,
I call them second hand because they have been sitting in a cupboard for quite sometime despite never used so they are no longer "off the shelf" condition.

I will check out the other options, I'd be happy to get 50p-£1 each to get rid of them, I'm just a bit stingey when they are only getting valued at 10p.

    Thanks everyone x
