I would like to boost my income and I have been considering investing the the markets, stocks and whatever can positive numbers into my bank account.
I am young (23) and would like to be financially free before I turn 40! Also, any tips on how to start of on the right track on making my money work for me is more than welcome! VERY ready to learn.

Tbh, I don't think anyone can really answer this question. For one we don't no your situation - if you had 50k to invest I personally would suggest property. You need to sit down, go over some ideas (like stock markets) decide what you'd like to try out and then go for it (and yes, do your research by asking questions - but this question is very open ended)
End day, if we had the answer to this sort of question everyone would be doing it - but it's about what's right for you and what risks you want to take. So sit down, have a think and come back when you have some more direct questions/figures/ideas.People don't know what they want until you show them.0
