How to build an Affiliate Marketing site? which hosting package to use?

Options
As the title says: do you know of a site/ online resource / book that teaches a legitimate way to build an affiliate site from the ground up?. I’d prefer a site/ online resource / book that walks me through from start to finish if possible and not something that teaches black hat tricks that will get my site penalized in the long run

Thinking of using Vidahost for web hosting, but if you have any other suggestions for inexpensive hosting I’d like to hear them. Looking for something ultra cheap for now (I can always upgrade if I get lots of traffic I reckon)

Thank you

For affiliate site, why dont you search for some Wordpress theme there are tons of them available that can help you built a affiliate website.
For hosting you can consider WebHost UK

There are lots of themes and plugins available for Affiliate Websites. Sometimes free, sometimes paid for.
I use a plugin called WooZone (paid for) for my Amazon Affiliate websites. This is a great tool and allows you to import Amazon products really easily. You need a bit of web knowledge to setup things properly but nothing too hard. You can always contact their support team or Google your issue. You have to put time and efforts in at the start but it's well worth it. Managed to make £1,336 thus far this year.

In terms of hosting, I use "1and1" but only because I've used it for years. Probably not the best around according to reviews but I can't be bothered shopping around for new one and transfer websites etc...

    Hope this helps

    Hi kobracai,

As an alternative, you can also consider hostforlife.eu. To build your affiliate site, you can use Wordpress, they support wordpress, price is quite cheap too. Or you can also check out ukwindowshostasp.net for UK hosting. But I would prefer hostforlife

For learning affiliate marketing, Affilorama is good. They have plenty of free lessons available, which include videos.

What is the best topic for an affiliate site? I guess its easier to write lots if its about something you like, but there must be different volumes of traffic and affiliate deals for different types of content or is it all much the same? I would love to have a go doing this but I don't know what topic I'd choose to make the site about. Has anyone got any good guides?

I'm guessing to make any money from it you'd need to have a large circle of social media contacts (read thousands) plus be an adept at search engine optimisation.
