Acer mouse pad not working (+ charging issue)
Hi, the mouse pad on my acer laptop has not worked for a bit. I've been using a USB mouse for a while as I was considering selling at some point. I've decided to keep it and have a bit of time so want to try fix it. I believe it's a software issue, but wondered where I should start? Drivers or something? Also, I need to…

excel formula?
In F400 I have A365-A1 and in G400 I have B365-B1 and in F401 I have A366-A2 and in G401 I have B366-B2 and fill columns F and G down as I add to column A and column B. Occasionally the result in column F is out of sequence so I have to manually adjust F410 to A362-A3 so therefore G410 becomes B362-B3. Is it possible to…

Laptop -v- Beer!
Aaaaarrghhhh! Spilt a glass of beer over the keyboard of my laptop last night. Immediately mopped it up as best I could and left it close to a radiator to help drying out. Tried it this morning (> 12 hrs after the spillage) and it powered up OK, but the keyboard has obviously suffered damage as it would only recognise some…

My elderly and very deaf DM's wants to watch a YouTube recording which has subtitles. It's easy enough on her iPad, however when I get it up on her TV I can't find any settings options to select subtitles. I've tried a quick internet search but only get general info about subtitles when using a browser. Can anyone offer a…

Inernet/Bluetooth Radio
I'm looking for recommendations for an internet/bluetooth radio. I really wanted one to connect to my pc, so I could play my own media, but I was bought one that was internet, DAB, and FM, with bluetooth. Seeing as we have 2 DAB radios already, I thought this was a waste, seeing as it wasn't what I wanted. My wife ordered…

Eureka! Did I just solve my 10 yr problem of displaying PC/Tablet to TV?
Hi all For many years I have (on and off) been intermittently trying to connect various tablets, PC’s to my TV without any success. So, tried again tonight to cast my PC to our living room TV. IT FAILED. Apparently the PC doesn’t support Miracast so that option is out. The TV is quite new (Panasonic Vierra) and doesn’t…

I got great help on this forum with shrinking a video clip, but I now need to shorten my videos into short segments so that I can get them below 100MB. What is the easiest way? I just want to cut them into 15minute segments. A google search pointed me towards Microsoft photos but the trip option is not available.
