easiest way to cut a video clip

Options
I got great help on this forum with shrinking a video clip, but I now need to shorten my videos into short segments so that I can get them below 100MB. What is the easiest way? I just want to cut them into 15minute segments. A google search pointed me towards Microsoft photos but the trip option is not available.

    How about openshot

  • This past August 2020 I needed to split a single 2 hour 40 minute long video up into eight 20 minute chapters as separate videos. After some online research for a Windows program that did this, I went with the Bandicut Video Splitter and was very pleased with the results. Search online for "bandicut" and it should be the first link that appears. It supports a number of different input and output video file formats - I began with a single AVI file just over 1 GB (gigabytes) in size, and ended up with eight MP4 files. It's available in both paid and free versions - with the only difference between them being that with the free version (which I used) it adds its logo to the last three seconds of each new video it outputs. But it does not overlay any logo during the video, or at the start of the video, as do some other free versions of video editing software.
