Internet security
I have had Norton 360 on subscription for years. I used to buy a new one each year but got lax and let it roll on subsription. I realised that it was giving me the option to add more than one device, and since I don't need this it led me to check what they charged me and I then realised it was a rather eye-watering amount!…

Problem with facebook search.
I have had a problem in the last few days with facebook. When I get a page up the word 'sound' appears in the search bar on facebook, it then shows a dropdown menu of related items for 'sound'. I have never actually searched for the word sound so I don't know where it has come from. I delete it each time but it just keeps…

TV aerials and watching free channels
I'm about to move into a new rental property. Previous tenant had Virgin but I'm having BT phone and broadband installed. In the living room there are a load of Virgin cables. One cable looks like the basic TV aerial but the end has been cut off. I'm going back to using my Now TV smart box but wondered how I will be able…

Word versus Pages
I use a MacBook Pro and currently have Office for Mac 2011 installed. I never bothered with the Apple equivalents (Pages etc) when I changed from a Windows PC to an Apple one. I mostly use Word and a bit of Excel, just for basic stuff, and I think they're excellent. However, after either the next, or next-but-one update to…

Other ways to get broadband
I've had such problems with my broadband since moving here and engineers have been in numerous times checking it out.
