How do I prevent Hotmail from locking me when overseas

Every time I travel overseas Hotmail locks me out of my tablet preventing me from accessing incoming E Mails or sending any from my account. Is there anyway I can stop this happening.

I have a Samsung Tablet 3 and i am experiencing the exact same obstacle. I have tried countless times to find an answer to this problem but so far whenever i go abroad my E Mails are blocked/locked out. It is real nuisance. I do not know if this is an issue just with Samsung tablets or is the same with other manufacturers tablets , IPads etc. HELP PLEASE

I am not techie but since downloading the MS Authenticator App I have been able to confirm it is me trying to access and the block is immediately lifted.

Are you trying to access Outlook by logging on via a browser on your tablet or are you trying to access it via the Outlook app .

You should as mentioned above consider downloading the Microsoft authenticator app onto your tablet this will give you a way of logging in even when abroad

Use outlook. I used this in the USA last week and a text soon had me get in. Simple! Your phone needs to be registered and on a network.

Could you get round the problem using a VPN and set the IP address to a UK one?
