I have a satisfactory online calendar on my laptop, the same thing on both my samsung tablet and phone (android) gives me a slightly different layout with arty farty border on top, which I don't want. Any idea's how I can emulate the laptop layout please?.

It depends if you are talking about an app or in the browser. If it's an app I don't think there's anything you can do. If you are using Chrome there is an option called Desktop site (It's a checkbox option you get when you click the three squares top right). I have found it a bit unpredictable but it is worth a try given how easy it is.0

Thanks to each of you, I have sorted this now. I googled plain month to view calendar for android laptop/phone, and found "one calendar", installed that, and linked to google calendar and they synced and appear plain (except for inserted things), I would have installed it on my laptop, but needed a microsoft account, which I ditched months ago, however, it makes no difference as I entered something and it appeared on all devices, so that's another chapter closed. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
