Laptop will not connect to internet DNS failed

on a Samsung Wave is hopeless. Have tried various settings, I generally have Wifi switched off and let 3G do all the work. Still get the "Facebook is Unstable" message all the time plus "Internal Error" message a fair bit. Google shows I'm not alone but not many solutions offered? Is it just a rubbish App?
