Vista Start menu question
I use Vista Ultimate, but I prefer the xp start menu appearance, where you see the installed programs to the right, once you click on start. I realise you can revert back to the classic start menu, but it only brings up "one" box, i.e., the control panel and printer options etc aren't on the right. Does anyone know how to…

Microsoft is accused by EU again
Wasn't sure where to post this, but thought it would get the best response here. Are the EU suggesting that Windows should be nothing but a core operating system, with no utilities to perform the basic functions of a PC? To me it seems like a badly thought out proposal filled with EU bitterness towards MS, as without a…

Converting lots of negative film to digital?
Hi, I was wondering if anybody advise me on the best way of converting images, probably 2000+ images, to digital? Is it better for me to just take the images to a photo shop, or are negative film scanners any good? Obviously getting 2000+ converted is going to cost alot, so I would be willing to spend high-ish amounts on…
