Slow dialup
I am forced to go on dialup until my new broadband connection is sorted out. I have a brand new creative blaster internal V.92 modem yet it is only achieving 33.6 kbps Does anyone know of a fix for this in order to get maximum speeds? Thanks

I keep getting those "referral" popups, and have downloaded a popup blocker but it doesn't seem to be working as they come up in a new window! I've been getting the same kind of emails from them too, will run adaware and my spyware later, but can anyone recommend a good popup blocker?

Web page printing problem

DVD player fault - is there any easy fix?
If a DVD player has begun to not be able to recognize (load) discs but the starup screen with the manufacturer logo comes on as usual and otherwise the device seems fine, is there any fix for this problem? Could it be that it somehow jumped to a different region setting (it was multiregion out of the box before).
