I'm connecting my 360 to my new SM206BW LCd monitor via VGA and was wondering what settings I should choose on the 360?

well the native res of the monitor is [SIZE=-1]1680 x 1050 however I don't think the 360 does that res
you might have to set it to something else then the setting below it is for widescreen - try a wider setting to compensate

I run mine off a 20" monitor too. I just set it at the highest widescreen resolution possible. I think it was something like 1280x800 (or it could have been a 4:3 resolution of 1280x1024)."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0

Also do I set it to 1080p/i or is that all automatic?0 -
If you load up the dashbox (ie turn it on without a game in it), you'll get the typical dashbox options screen.
I think it's the far right one you want, "System". Somewhere in there, there'll be an option to set the resolution.
1080i, doesn't apply to typical computer monitors, only tv's. A setting such as 1280x1024 is the equivalent of high definition."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
