how to repair xp when recovery disc cant find vital files?
Dad's had a duff comp for weeks now. Pc world installed a new hard drive and gave him a new xp recovery cd but it still cant install vital files. if it managed to boot ok will installing sp2 fix this? xp was preloaded so havent got an os cd. I've tried everything-ideas?

Line spacing when posting on MSE
Is anyone else getting this problem, or know how to solve it please. When I type out a reply on MSE, and press the "Enter" key to move down a line, it moves down 2 lines instead. Yet when the post appears on the thread, it's back to normal. Any suggestions ?
