Student bank accounts for postgraduate study?
I am going to start my PGCE in september. Since I have already done my degree 11 years ago, I am no longer an undergraduate. I was wondering if I am still able to get a student bank account as I am still classed as a student? If so, which one would people recommend? THanks Gilly

student accounts for FE
Does anyone know if Student Accounts exist for people going into Further Education as a mature student rather than Higher Education? An interest free overdraft would be really useful. I've already been turned down by Smile. Thanks

Car Insurance - add on parents
I've spent some time looking at the cost of student car insurance - couple of obvious tips - 1) As long as you can justify it, check the difference between your Uni address and parents address - often a big saving - but DON'T do it if you can't justify it - be a shame to fail the voice stress analyser on the claims hotline…

blagging discounts
As students, we don't have much cash, so any discounts on anything is useful, right? I thought here would be a good place to post student-friendly companies who are willing to reduce fees/prices/whatever with a little bit of pleading and mentioning of student poverty. I'll start it off with vodafone. Told them I wanted to…
