Site running a bit slow
Seems it's not just me as other sites are working fine. Comes and goes regularly, taking 15-20 seconds to load a page.

Anyone else find the site a bit slow at times?
It's a bit intermittent for me. Other sites seem fine. :undecided

Site header
The banner that runs across the top of the site could be a bit smarter - it currently says "England vs USA KO 19:30" - but that was yesterday

MSE recommended site will keep cold calling you!
Hey guys, Just wanted to point out that the Moneyextra website that is listed under Credit card balance transfer & Use a ‘credit worthiness' comparison heading, will start cold calling you more or less as soon as you go through the 'soft credit check' and enter all your details on their website. I had done this a few…

preserve the timeline of threads when they are merged?
Hi there, a suggestion to improve the readability/comprehension of merged threads. If I understand it right :o currently 2 threads being merged fall into an order based on the times of the posts. Sometimes a thread may have been running for a while and then be merged with another thread which has been running for a while.…

New Look Forum - Navigation Suggestions Thread
Hi folks The new look forum has been in a couple of weeks now, and we're very pleased with the overall performance (less bounce rate so its definitely effective) and the enormous majority of people have stuck with it. However I know there are a few glitches and niggles people don't like. So I'd like to ask for suggestions.…

Site optimisation + usability
It takes a minimum of 5 clicks to see a round-up of 'my posts' once I arrive at the site. Forum>User CP>M.Holloway>Statistics>Find all posts by M.Holloway Considering this is the starting point for many of my journeys on MSE could I suggest you you add a "your posts" and "posts with responses" link under quick links or…

Its about helping people get their entitlement! Not about benefits policy!
Impassioned call to restate this forum rule. :T I don't come to MSE often but when I do it's to give or recieve support. I'm drawn to the benefits forum because that's my day job (NOT DWP-the claimant's side) and there are some notable stalwarts giving fantastic advice and info. However, I reel from the many misinformed…

Reporting posts
Why does MSE post report require sending an e-mail rather than using the onsite report tool that is built in to vBulleting? For me, the built in tool is so much less hassle :)

Site glitch?
A couple of posts disappeared from a thread yesterday that weren't offensive/spam/otherwise breaking forum rules and I wondered if there was a problem with the new-look site? Anyone know? Thanks.

Unable to search New Posts
I usually look at this forum by pressing the New Posts button and look at the latest 12 pages of posts. Over the past few days I have been unable to do this. When I press the button I get a message telling me I have to wait 15 seconds between searches and I need to wait 2 seconds before searching again. No matter what I…
