Site optimisation + usability

Options
It takes a minimum of 5 clicks to see a round-up of 'my posts' once I arrive at the site.

Forum>User CP>M.Holloway>Statistics>Find all posts by M.Holloway

Considering this is the starting point for many of my journeys on MSE could I suggest you you add a "your posts" and "posts with responses" link under quick links or more visibly in the use CP.

I'm sure this would be the same for most people as we all like to see who's replied and how to our threads.

You could shortcut that either by saving as a favourite/bookmarking your profile on the user CP page so you only have to click on the statistics tab or bookmark a thread you have started/replied to then use the "find more posts by" under your username.

What you are asking for is already there, it's called subscribed threads.

After you have logged in click on quick links (next to log out) then click on subscribed threads.
This will show all threads you have either subscribed to by posting on them or manually subscribed to without posting on them.

The topmost threads that are in bold blue are threads that have had replies since you last viewed them.
Once you have viewed them the bold will disappear.

Edited to add ~ A handy tip to read the first unread post is to click on the little blue arrow that's next to the thread title, saves you having to trawl through the thread looking for the last post you viewed.

    Hope that helps :)

mjm - A user shouldn't have to work around a poorly designed website/forum like that.

shelly - MSE doesn't auto-subscribe me, as other forums I have subscribed to send emails when someone posts on your thread. I really don't want hundreds more emails cluttering up my inbox.

    Thanks for trying!

But really its a usability issue and a forum as popular and big as MSE shouldn't be making such embarrassing mistakes.

You can set auto subscribe without getting emails. See this post by fermi that explains what to do.... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=27694967&postcount=3
Once you have set it like the pic it's just 2 clicks to find your subscriptions.

    Hope that helps :)

Thank you for your suggestions. In the short term I suggest bookmarking the links in your browser if you use them frequently. For your convenience here are the links (taken from your Statistics page) for your threads and your posts, that you can bookmark.
