Good morning!
I'm sure this has been asked before though I can't find any info, but how do you quote from another person's post when posting?
There's seems to be three choices:quote tags, code tags or strike tags, but I don't know what you do with them. Also how do you just partly quote from a post?
If someone would could explain,I would be most grateful.I think multi quotes might have to wait!
Thanks x

To quote just one post, press the "quote" button at the bottom of the post. That will put that post into quotes, and you can delete the part of the post that you don;t need
To do multi quotes, press the next button along (with 2 speech bubbles in it). You can the select up to 3 posts to multi-quote. Press the "reply" button and proceed as above
Ask again if you have further Qs :j:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

See the sticky from sra, HERE in the Site Feedback board, where this question and lots of others are answered.
PP's answer is correct, but "everything" is on the sticky from sra.

Your answer is partly correct, but as it was written in 2005, last updated 2008; it's not been updated since the recent forum changes; it doesn't include multi-quoting, for instance:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Hadn't noticed the last update, maybe sra should do a new update, (assuming they are still about)Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -

Good ideaAs the OP now has their answer, I'll move this to the site feedback board, where the team are more likely to see your suggestion.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email [EMAIL="abuse@moneysavingexpert.com"]abuse@moneysavingexpert.com[/EMAIL].:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0
