Discussion Time/The Arms
I frequent DT on a regular basis, often find a thread I like to follow, whether or not I post on it. Never had the slightest interest in the 'chat' threads that appear in The Arms, find it mostly to be drivel with the 'I had toast today' 'Oooh it's snowing' type threads. Yet when a thread is duplicated in both DT and The…

Todays Posts button isn't working for me
If I'm logged out and click on the 'Todays Posts button, I keep getting the 'please wait for 15 seconds' message even although longer than that has passed. One click showed 3 seconds left before being allowed to click again but after waiting longer and clicking again...it jumped up to 11 seconds. It's like a continual loop.

Log out issue
Anyone else have issues with getting booted out for no apparent reason and having to keep logging back in? Sometimes its every couple of minutes..............even booted me when I tried posting this thread :rotfl:

What's happened with the site? Annoying changes.
It used to be that you could click on user cp and see all the threads you were on, but not anymore? How do you go back to your posts without having to trawl? Seems silly to me.

£60 free with 6.5% savings .......... Not!
..... As a Moneysaving Email "One Not To Miss", this tip fails to deliver on a monumental scale! If a bank or building society were naive or foolish enough to advertise a new savings account with such a sensationalist, misleading and completely inaccurate banner headline, I would expect the relevant authorities to come…

Martin's Blog not updating again
I can only apologise for mentioning this again (it happened a few months back too) but it drives me scatty when the blog doesn't update !! :o In the little box at the bottom right of the screen when I'm logged into the forum pages where it says fun stuff & the site "Martins latest blog....ICICI is it safe?" has been the…

Can we restrict availability of polls?
I'm fed up to the back teeth of seeing polls posted by (almost always) newbie members. Polls are very rarely the right way to get a sensible answer to a question which is of use to other users. Look at this one: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1238079 The responses are sensible but nobody's answered…

Refreshing screen goes back to top of page
Sometimes if a thread has a lot of long posts it takes me a while to read the page, so before I post myself I refresh the page to see if there are any new posts. However this takes me back to the top of the page, rather than to the point where I was, i.e. the last post on that page. Other sites I visit (on same software)…

Warning about dodgy 'recommendations' on MSE forums
I don't know if the forum adminstrators will pull this post down but I think it's really important to warn fellow GENUINE MSE forum users about some seriously suspicious 'recommendations' that regularly pop up in these forums. I feel a bit guilty using Leathersofaworld as an example because I've noticed it happen with a…

Worldwide money saving board...
...I know there is already the travel board, but is there any chance of a worldwide board separated into separate countries (e.g. Aus, USA etc) as I know here in Aus there is no MSE and it would be nice to have somewhere we can get together and post things for each other. :o

Google Chrome Issues
Hi All, Did a quick search, but couldn't find anything on it...Just wondered if it was worth us having a place to stick any problems people might find on the site when using Chrome to browse. Anyway, my starter - clicking on someone's name, for me, just takes you straight to their profile, not to the normal context menu...…

Money saving for Scout leaders
How about starting a thread for all us Scouters?, as a Beaver Scout Leader, finding cheap/free supplies of art & craft material can be quite hard. Who knows, you could even do it as '1st MSE Scout Group' & have sub-threads for Beavers, Cubs, Scouts & Explorer Scout sections.
