Consumer Templates for Writing Complaints and General Letters.
Could somebody in Admin fix a Thread just for the purpose of helping people writing their own letters to ; companies they have grievances with, legal type requests, letters to their MP or the PM , general complaints of bad service and requesting refunds etc.
Most people who believe they have a legitimate complaint might or write to the company, individual or business who sometimes then give them more hurdles of complaint procedures before the ombudsman is involved. For instance I once had to write 4 different letters to, further up the ladder departments of an estate agent. Some people might just not even bother with one letter that might be all that is needed and miss out on the compensation or refunds they are entitled to because they might not feel confident of compiling a letter.
If the thread had a sub-thread or just a separate thread in each of the Forum Home Subtitles for different topics. Or just plonk it in this “Moneysaving and the site” list. Volunteers could do posts in the correct categories that could be cut and pasted into emails or Word type programmes and made personal by filling in the gaps with their own details and of the persons they are writing to.
Just this last week I’ve written two letters, one to the FSCS and one to my MP which was copied from a donation template kindly donated by a member in one of the Saving And Investing threads. Saved me lots of time too.

Thanks for that. I would have never found this, it is quite hidden away with a title that I would normally not click on. Maybe the thread wants bringing more into the mainstream of the site, just a thought.0
