Call me thick, but, without wading through hundreds of pages, how do I trace my own threads, to see if there any replies ALSO, how do I search for any advice on a partcular subject, i.e. premium bonds, washing machines etc. Whenever I enter anything in the "search" it always comes up with "no matches" what am I doing…

Why can't I see the smilie list on this computer?
When I used a friend's computer a week or so ago I noticed that when I typed a reply to a thread there were some options at the bottom of the page allowing me to select smilies and also showing how to create links etc. On my laptop I don't see these options. Is it my computer or has this site disallowed it now?
