High premium IT’s

Kingdom Bank 60 day notice a/c pulled.
After seeing the 0.69% rate on MSE this morning, I tried to apply. The application failed, so I called them. Sadly they have pulled the 60 day a/c due to very high demand :( Oh well, back to the drawing board with that plan.

Santa Rally?
Just realised that we haven't had the traditional forum Santa Rally thread yet. Is anyone seriously expecting a last minute surge or are we all just thankful that our investments survived the 2020 pandemic with modest gains? Was this year's crash the start of a new market cycle or are we still at the end of the long bull…

Can't meet my bank's identification rules so can't transfer my money to new savings provider
Apologies if this has been answered before. I set up a new fixed term bond and went to my bank (I've been with this branch 28 years and the bank 50 years) to transfer the funds. I do not have a picture driving licence - only a paper one and do not have a current passport so they will not transfer the funds. I will be…

Tax liability on 'with profit' account
In October I put savings into a one-year fixed term Sharia account. The profit is added at the end of the term so, as I see it, at the end of this tax year it will have generated no additional revenue (if I cashed it in on 5 Apr '21 I would only get back my original investment). Will I have to declare any interest on this…

Hi Folks, I'd be really grateful for your advice on where to invest a recently-matured lump sum (which is my life savings and the interest is currently my sole income).
