Kingdom Bank 60 day notice a/c pulled.

After seeing the 0.69% rate on MSE this morning, I tried to apply. The application failed, so I called them. Sadly they have pulled the 60 day a/c due to very high demand  :(
Oh well, back to the drawing board with that plan.

Aldermore are offering 0.7% interest on a 120 days notice account which is a better rate?

It was the shorter notice period that was attractive. I can live with 120 days though if nothing better comes along in the next 14 days or so when my Investec withdrawal is due.

If it's still available in two weeks of course....

That's true. Think I'll sit tight and look around early in the New Year. Short term fallback will be to put the cash into my existing Marcus instant access A/C unless they make a further rate cut!!

I have already decided to chance my luck and put the maximum amount into Premium Bonds. With interest rates being so low, it has to be worth a punt as part of my overall savings/investments plan.
