Liquidating investments - Strategy?
I need to liquidate some investments I had for the last 20 years or so. They are mostly in ISAs and unit trusts. Some have done really well and some have done relatively poorly. Given savings rates are so low (~1.35%), does it make sense to overpay our mortgage (2%) instead?
Hi all, given that savings rates are so low these days, does it make sense to overpay our mortgage instead as that's a higher rate than the highest savings rates on the market at the moment? Thanks in advance! :)

S&S ISA Mess/Confusion - Clarification requested!
Greetings, I was wondering if the good folk here could help me clear up and clarify my
situation. I was always under the impression that you were only able to open up one
S&S ISA per year. A few years ago

monthly, on her behalf – I knew about Junior ISAs…

US shares held - best to leave until selling or transfer to UK brokerage?
I currently have some IBM 'Restricted Stock Units' which were awarded to all IBM employees a good long time ago, and whilst I no longer work for IBM, I was there long enough to qualify for these shares so they are now mine to do with as I please. They're currently held by Morgan Stanley in the US, and what I'm trying to…

Moneybox Cash LISA or S&S?
My 18 year old wants to save long term for a house. She's decided on the Moneybox LISA. Our advisor suggests stocks and share for terms longer than 5 years and she will definately have it for longer than 5 years - at least 10 (or more) I would think. Any views/comments on this? Thanks in advance :)

Credit Union for Savings
Hi All, We had a money advisor in work this week whom advised me that due to better interest rates a Credit Union would be a good place for my £5k that's sitting in a current account doing nothing.
