Debt free Finally now to save but how?

I am now finally free of all my debt and 42 years old. I want to start saving but can only really afford to put aside approx £75 per month (hope to improve this) and I don't have any current savings. But where do I put it to make it work best for me.
I have a 2 year old daughter so I want to avoid risk.
I was thinking in a regular saver paying about 2% but what about an isa???
I don't mind putting in work to move the money around if needed.
Any suggestions would be greatfully recived.

Are you able to open a TSB classic plus current account? Pays 3% interest on balances up to 1500. Have to pay in £500 per month. If currently has a refer a friend offer (£100 for you £100 for them) to kickstart your savings! If you have a friend with a TSB account they can refer you, if not this forum has a referral board where people post referral links. If you do end up looking at regular savers be careful to check if they allow access to your money as some don’t allow access before the end of the term (likely to be a bad idea for you if you currently have no savings).1
