so you you have an unknown portfolio and want to invest in something else that doesn't include passive investments (for an unknown reason) ?Well that narrows it down to about 25,000 different combos of funds shares ITs and ETFs to choose from. How much money have you got with HL?0

The two funds that make the portfolio are HL income and growth,/ HL special situations..both have under performed there peers over 3 and 5 yrs..So was looking for different platform....been with hl a number of yrs..just lost faith with the company now..high fees and under performance...was now the good time to look for another platform..thsnks0

It is true that the HL funds-of-funds are not cheap because they allocate your money to other fund managers' funds and charge you a fee for making the choices, reallocating from one fund to another from time to time and producing the reporting.
In your OP you said you would like something the same but less expensive and better return. And your rationale is that they have underperformed their peers. So, presumably you know which peers outperformed them, and you could look up those funds and find out if they meet your other criteria, of being cheaper?
If your criteria is simply that you want something that invests to produce a mix of income and growth, and outperformed the HL funds over 3 and 5 years - and have no more specific criteria than that - then why not just buy one of the funds that you saw outperform the HL fund of funds?
HL offer thousands and thousands of funds so there is no particular need to move platforms to get a different investment. Although other platforms do have lower platform fees - there are a number of platform comparison tables or web pages linked on this board every few days, so you could do a search for 'platform comparison' using the Search tool.1 -

Here is a comparison tool, but be clear that it only looks at the costs of the platform as a way of buying, selling and holding investments . The actual investments are a separate point.
Regarding HL - the platform is good if not the cheapest . However their HL funds are expensive and not really good values for money . . Many people use the HL platform but do not buy the ( heavily promoted ) HL branded funds
