Standard life demutualisation shares
Has anyone ever succeeded in selling these? I've gone onto the Computershare website, but it doesn't give an option for Standard Life plc. I'm still getting the dividend so someone out there knows I've got the shares.

Pension Advice - Typical Charges
How much would be typical for a chartered financial planner to charge for advice on a £50k pension? This is done on fees paid to them and not commission. Also, how much percentage charge per year for them to manage via a WRAP account. Thanks in advance. P.S. Is fund based commission the same as trailing commission?

Are bank bonds equal loosing money?
I'm saving some money towards mortgage deposit. The plan was to get a nice sum of money first to make sure rates will be lower then my rent. Right now I have about 40k. USA Debt. Hang on to your hats
Dow having finished at 12,681 on Friday, pre-trading has just started [11 p.m. Sunday]. 12,539 just at the minute. Not exactly a bloodbath, yet, but let's see the official opening tomorrow. FTSE100 dropped 74 immediately after opening, too. A mere 1.2% down, but I expect it to get a bit rockier before August 2nd while the…

Who's name should the cash be in?
Hi, My dad worked and saved all his life but unfortunately died two years ago when he was 59. He left a fair bit for my Mum and I'm worried that by leaving it in her name, all my Dad's hard earned cash will end up in the hands of a nursing home at some point in the future. I'm aware that nursing homes will count any money…
