Investec question

Hope this is the right part of the forum.
I have money in Investec bank and have tried looking on the FSA website to make sure they are UK based and therefore my money is protected by current legislation, but cannot see them there. Can anybody help?

Thanks very much. Now another question.If you live outside of the UK, eg France what sort of banking safeguards are there.?
When I opened the account I was in the UK but will soon be resident in France, so am a bit concerned.

Your residence is not at issue. Provided you invested in UK with an FSA registered deposit taker, then you should be fine.
