Aldermore - speed of application?

Hi

Assuming I'm electronically ID'd during their application process for their 1 year savings bond, how quickly will the direct debit instruction be set up?

How quick will I be able to pull funds from my nominated account to initiate an opening deposit?

Has anyone had a recent bond mature with Aldermore; what happens to the funds on maturity?

Do they pay out based on cheque for electronic means?

I had a 2 year Aldermore savings bond mature last year but decided to roll it over for another couple of years. But from memory IIRC just prior to the end of your fixed rate term they write to you offering you the chance to roll over the funds to a new issue or send your matured funds to your linked account via BACS.

The monthly interest payment on my 2 year Aldermore fixed rate account is paid to my linked account via BACS transfer each month.
