Egg sold to Yorkshire BS

Yorkshire BS has purchased the savings and mortgages part of Egg as well as the brand. Savings customers will become members of Yorkshire when the deal is completed.

    Knew it was being sold, but didn't know when and to who! Least it's done now.

    Doh! :doh:If past experience is anything to go by, existing Egg customers like myself can look forward to online access disruption as the two organisations attempt to merge their computer systems. :(

    It also means fewer choices as to where to put your savings if you want FSC protection.
