Has a FTSE tracker ever been a "good" investment?
Hi all, I've been looking around at various investment options over the past few months with a view to getting better returns than just keeping my savings as cash. Many articles by experts have been written stating that over the long term index trackers are very often better than actively managed funds, because they…

Hi, I want to cash in a fair amount of premium bonds. I have purchased them over a number of years in regular £100 blocks. I have obtained the form from the post office and now realise I need to post every single certificate they have sent me. This will require posting a large parcel, has anyone else ever done this and if…

Halifax ISA Investor
I currently have an ISA Investor with the Halifax which was started with £7000 roughly split 50-50 with Cautious Management Fund and FTSE 100 Index Tracking. This has lost from its high in the last year but is still slightly above my original investment. Should I quit while still ahead or leave it in for a couple of years?

ICEsave - tax information
Apologies if this has been covered in one of the various other ICEsave threads but they seem to be too numerous to go through completely. I've still got a couple of fixed term accounts with ICEsave and I'm wondering what happens with this year's tax certificates - will the FSA send them?
