ICEsave - tax information

Apologies if this has been covered in one of the various other ICEsave threads but they seem to be too numerous to go through completely.

I've still got a couple of fixed term accounts with ICEsave and I'm wondering what happens with this year's tax certificates - will the FSA send them?

Do you mean fixed term accounts that will end until end of March?
Otherwise the interest only counts for next year's tax, right?

I don't think we'll get certificates, and we'll just need to see how much we had there and then how much we receive at the end...

But don't you HAVE to receive tax certificates from the interest provider? One of my accounts finishes before the end of this tax year, the other after, but the same applies surely, just that one tax cert. should be this year and one should be next.

There is no obligation on a financial provider to send you a tax certificate automatically. However, they must send you one if you request it.
Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place
