Putting aside money for my son inheritance money let to me by my auntie

Hello, My auntie died last year & I'm about to receive my inheritance (not a huge amount in real terms but enough to want todo the right thing) I'm looking to put about £20,000 aside for my sons future & don't really know what the best way of saving it is!
Is it better in the current financial climate to split it & put in more thatn one account?
I don't work & receive diasability benefits & am about to receive my works pension due to ill health (I'm 39yrs old) I assume I am on NIL tax!
Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
