Leeds Building Society Inflation Buster ISA
Hi, Leeds Building Society is offering Inflation Buster ISA with the interest rate on savings linked to RPI (Retail Price Index). Here is the link If the inflation rises, returns on this ISA will increase. But if it falls, though unlikely, returns will be less than Bank of England Base Rate. Any thoughts whether worth…

Property funds: target yield?
Just came across this article: http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/ask-an-expert/investing/article.html?in_article_id=429932&in_page_id=137 I've no exposure to property funds ATM and am wondering about the conditions under which add them. The above implies that commerical property (B&M) funds may be showing value when the yield…

Why don't HSBC offer good rates?
As the worlds largest bank, why don't HSBC offer interest rates to match other banks? I feel my money (larger sums than £35k) is safer with them than anyone else, yet they give me no reason to keep my money in there. Is there any reason for it, or is it just a case of them being the largest bank and not having to!!! Does…
