Short Term savings (11 months)
My fiance and I are saving a bit of money towards our wedding in February 2008. We will be saving between 300-400 a month between us for the next 11 months, so will end up with a total of approx. £3000-£5000. My question is: where would be the best place to save this money. I know I can't expect huge returns over 11 months…

Best place(s) to stick £35-40k
I have a lump sum that's sitting in an account earning 4.4%. I want to have instant access should I need it. Abbey Super ISA
Hi, What are peoples views on the new Super Isa Introduced by Abbey? They are offering 8% on an Isa, reducing to 5.25% in May of next year. Attached to this is Guaranteed Growth Plan of 9% or 23% over 3 or 5 years. Is this a good return for a stock market product, or would this money be better placed in a standalone stocks…
