Should I open an ISA account with my own bank ?

Hi all,
Need some help....Am with First Direct and wondered if it would be a good idea to set up an ISA with them rather than get one from another provider. I dont know if I can deal with the hassle (if there is any of course!!) Also, would it be wise to put money in now or wait till April.
thanks
Poppy

If you put money in now you will be using your 2006/07 allowance of £3000, then after 5/4/07 you will get a new ISA allowance of £3000, so you could put more in.

Re First Direct, I am currently transferring my ISA from them as their rates are not very competitive.
