A&L Regular Saver
OK people my RS is about to mature does this account roll on or is it 1 year only? If it is only 1yr I am tempted to take my custom elsewhere in the short term, if I still hold my ISA with A&L after closing my premier account will this negate me from gaining superior rates a second time in the case of closing accounts and…

what's the chances of ICESave going bust!?
After selling my house (well hope to exchange any day soon) - I will be renting for a while and have significant savings to put away. I am tempted by ICESave, - but - well, i've never heard of them before, and would be pretty gutted if they went bust and I lost £3,300 (as I could 'safe guard' myself by only putting in a…

Hi having been looking into funds lately, and reading the old MSE article on it, where is the best place to buy funds, in particular Schroder UK Mid 250. I have seen this on fidelity and Hargreaves Lansdown, and some others. I was wandering which service gives the best deals on buying and maintaining the funds, and what is…

I previously posted that I am now unsecured debt free. I have £500 a month available to save and am proposing to start off by using the Ipswich Regular saver - £120 per month and the Regular ISA £250. The rest I am going to use to build up a regular bills cushion - car tax, insurance , mot/servicing, household repairs etc…

I've £27k in an HBOS 5.25% account - I'll leave £5k in there for the time being to keep it open and move the rest…

This stokc is expected to double.
Yeah. You've probably had as many of these spam emails as I have. "Buy this stock" "We always get x00% growth" "blah blah market blah blah..." etc ad nauseum. A long while back, I spotted this article on BBC. It made me wonder if one could profit by shorting the stock that the spam encourages you to buy. Any thoughts? Or…
