Is it illegal to use "Last in first out" when considering those at risk of redundancy
I keep hearing experienced people being made redundant because companies think that LIFO is illegal, but I can't see anywhere that actually states this. The UK.GOV site says it maybe illegal if only used on young people, but still uses experience in it's examples as a consideration not to select someone for redundancy.

I work full time for a company that is now being merged with another. When I began the job, three and a half years ago, I moved from London to the location of the job, 70 miles away. While I was pregnant, I asked to work from home on one day a week, which was accepted. While I was on maternity leave, the office was…

Possible redundancy when working few hours.
I've been working in an independent shop for about 6 years and because of falling sales we are now overstaffed. However I am called in a lot during the month on weekdays if someone rings…

Unfair redundancy and unvested share options
