Freeview boxes
Having tried about 4 Freeview boxes so far, why on earth do the manufacturers make them so annoyingly difficult to use? I'm in I.T., so I can eventually figure the thing out, but I wonder how a pensioner is ever going to be able to use Freeview when the analogue switch-off happens? Why can they not just take a leaf out of…

Old peoples home - what would you do
I know of an elderly lady who had to be taken into hospital because her 60+ bedded retirement home had no oxygen cylinders left! Who would deal with this? Social services? I think it is disgusting. Shes not a family member so I dont want to interfere but surely running a home like that is dangerous?

Is Sky untouchable...?
I am getting increasingly concerned at how Sky is doing it's own thing and no-one seems to mind. Being a sports lover I have little option but to subscribe. Technically their coverage is brilliant. But...it is an expensive subscription service that also broadcasts a higher than average % of adverts. A large percentage of…

Being Harassed whilst shopping
I don't often go into town shopping, I went in on Monday afternoon and it reminded me why I avoid it. From parking up, walking a few hundred yards to my bank, looking into a couple of shop windows and walking back into the shopping centre I avoided about a dozen people selling/distributing/surveying folk walking past. I…

Automated garage doors
Used these people http://www.amourelle.co.uk/ for a new door plus opener. Just a customer and not related to them except as a customer but the service was superb including spending time on the phone talking through the options for my existing knackered door (I ended up buying a new one) and various motors / remotes /…

House Sellers Beware
I'm selling my house at the moment, and as well as advertising it on the local solicitors property centre site, I created a webpage for it myself. I also followed some links from this site, and listed it on a number of free nation wide sites. I've received the following email correspondence. I'm 99 and a large bit % sure…

Oh excuse me, I was going to have a rant about the fact that one person will think im the best thing since sliced bread, whilst another will see the whole thing differently, and either not believe me to do the things I say I do, or that my moneysaving efforts are offensive (kids living on meagre means and all that...) But…
