Milk use by dates
I've just made a cup of tea and noticed that the milk we're using has a 'use by' date of 15 April and yet it's perfectly OK.. no off taste at all. Do most fresh foods have such a short date? And why? On the same sort of vein I've been reading on the BBC website about ideas to reduce the amount of electricity/gas the UK is…

Grotty green moss on the patio
Apart from the weeds that seem to have taken over my garden like triffids I have some pretty horrible green mossy stuff that seems to be growing all over my patio. I have a covered drain outlet there and I think it could be from the resulting dampness near to it. Any ideas as to how, without resorting to expensive moss…

Gadgets best and worst
I found an article on the BBC website about hardly used gadgets. Interesting reading as it list Breadmakers as being an candidate for the endangered list of gadets that are pointless and no uses more than a couple of times. Link here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4953610.stm yours Calley
