reduce fat in baking

How do I get the inside of my microwave clean
something blew up in the micro last week and I didnt get round to cleaning it till last night :-[ :-[ no lemons in so I used a bowl of brown vinegar on high let it steam for a few mins then wiped out the mike with a cloth dipped in the vinegar. it came up spotless and smells of Nothing now. great ;D

Cooking oil on carpet!
Anyone know a good way of getting a rather large olive oil stain out of a carpet? Haven't tried anything yet and unfortunately it's in the middle of the room so covering it up with furniture isn't really an option!!
