Kia v dealer fixed price for service
To maintain warranty need to get a 5 year service.+ MOT. Online Kia price (£214 for both being done by my dealer) is transparent about what's supposed to be covered in the service so on the face of it, it seems reasonable. Can anyone recommend this method? (Strangely, the same dealer seems reluctant to quote any fixed…

Unable to send back my old driving licence
Hi, I've lost my driving licence and I've now applied for another one which all went well. However at the end of the application it said that I have to cut up my old licence and send it back to the DVLA, so my obvious question is, how can I do that if I do not have the old licence anymore as I lost it??

I know there are some people on here with experience of the insurance business. Bit of advice, if possible ... Long story, but a good friend of mine is going to lend me his (second) car for a period of 3-6 months. Basically, it is quite old and getting towards end-of-life, he has bought another, and his wife wants it out…

Dealer now charging for delivery to my house
Back in January I used the website "drive the deal" when looking for a new car. I decided on a Skoda Karoq and the price seemed to be right. The drive the deal website says that the price shown included delivery to your house which was good as the dealership was five hours drive away. I signed all the documentation, paid…

Is Now the Time to Buy?
Have read that now isn't the best time to buy as the lockdown has slowed new/used cars coming to the market. This means prices are fairly high. Is now a good time to buy?

Garage complaint - advice appreciated
The local garage I’ve used for years replaced the power steering unit on my 2010 Peugeot 207 for £500 in November last year. The unit was faulty and within a few days, when failing, there was a sudden loss of coolant and temp gauge became faulty. I reported my concerns to the garage who replaced the unit and told me there…

Terminate PCP early due to relocation
I may relocate abroad towards the end of the year (considering my options). I bought my car on PCP in January 2020 - I wouldn't need the car abroad which is why I'm looking at options on how to terminate the contract. Apart from selling the car to a private and/or to the dealer - which will result me in paying a quite high…

Price of a cat converter
Hi! So I have an 2002 rav 4 which is only worth around £800. A few months ago my engine warning light came on and I took it to a garage who said it was a faulty 02 sensor. Carparts4less
I know this is more of a vent or moan but given a fair few of us on the forum do our servicing and repairs I felt it worth raising this here. I would suggest not using Carparts4less for your parts.
