Hi all,
I got a used Peugeot (2015) from AutoTrader this Feb. I hit a steel fence while parking in March. Car was repaired through insurance by Peugeot dealer. There was a fault wit the automatic transmission. I started the car yesterday and the car is not starting. I m getting the same error as last time ' fault with gearbox '. Should I take the car again to the same dealer for repairs. Or just cut my losses and buy a different car. I can afford something for 12k or monthly payments of £400.
Thanks

First port of call is getting the fault diagnosed. It may be something simple (or not). What was the fix on the gearbox last time by the Peugeot dealer? It’s a relatively new car, only being 5 years old.1

this was the report

And you hit the steel fence with the front of the car...?
Simple version - they didn't repair everything that was damaged in the collision.1 -
There may be a guarantee on the repairs. Ask the dealer to check and see what the issue is.1

Contact your insurer and speak to them and tell them the car hasn't been fixed properly.1

Great thanks for the advice. Will check for warranty on the repair. Will give a call to the dealer tomorrow.0

You should try scanning your car too, it may have caused some damage that you can't see.0

get a peugeot dealer to put it on the ramp and have a look. its the only way you going to get it sorted.0
