why are used trailers so expensive?
I'm looking for a small erde/maypole trailer with internal dimensions of 1.5 x 1.2 x .4 ish. Just for occasional use - something that will pack flat too. They tend to retail from £400ish. you can get much smaller ones for £110. But to be honest the small ones have smaller load than the boot with the seats folded down. I've…

I have a dilemma. I have been offered a job that is 50 miles each way (100 miles per day) and I am currently looking at the pros and cons of leasing a car versus using my 2006 petrol c-max 1.6 at 71,000 mileage. My car seems to be running ok but needs about £300 pounds of repairs needed. My husbands car is a Peugeot 308…

Just bought a 'dodgy' car...
OK so 'dodgy' is a little harsh, it's not that bad. Basically we've just bought our first family car - a Renault Grand Scenic 1.5 dci, an ex-company car with all service history, one owner at 61k miles, which for a Diesel I thought sounded alright. We took our time buying this car, and through at least 8 dealers and as…

Do I have any rights?
I purchased a 2008 Suzuki swift last august 2014. I have recently noticed problems with it. The main problem is the gears not working properly. When I select 1st gear it goes into 3rd gear instead. What I am wondering is do I have any rights to get the garage to repair it or is it completely up to be to bear the cost?
