Is this a crime? If so, what offence.
This is all hypothetical, wink, wink. Take kids to swimming lessons and generally meet granny there. Car park crowded. I get there first and park. Granny arrives and was dithering about reversing into a space when a flash git drove in and nicked the space she was clearly reversing into. Somebody (unnamed) was furious and…

Anyone know if this is possible? We have one in Sheffield but have looked at DVLA website and not very helpful as to the things you can take to these offices to deal with. I know I can complete form at Post Office but understand it will take a minimum of six weeks for refund.

Thoughts on an accident...
Today my partner visited a local hospital, as she was reversing into a parking space one of the cars parked next to her opened a door and my partner reversed into it (Passenger in the third party car). My partner is determined the coast was clear as she was reversing into the space, however the third party isn't happy and…

Pug 206 pulling to one side... then other side
My 206 has started pulling to one side e.g left side quite quickly if I let go of the wheel. Then if I make a tight right turn it will then start pulling to the right and vice versa. Some times it is not as bad as other times. What could this be? I wouldn't have thought it was tracking or alignment. :o

Car Warranty
My husband got a used car a few weeks ago which apparently had a warranty but he was never given any paperwork for that warranty. It had also had a new MOT (apparently) but about 3 weeks after buying it i was out driving and the car started juddering violently and i had to stop the car. The garage took the car back in (it…

How long should tyres last??
I know there's no definitive answer but basically in January 2011 we bought 3 new tyres ( brand new hankook ones ) for our car, 2 for the front and 1 to replace one of the rear ones that had had a puncture. The car has gone in for its service today and apparently the 2 front tyres are 85% worn and therefore need replacing.…

Contacting ScotRail?????
Can anybody please give me any information on how to contact Steve Montgomery, ScotRail's Managing Director. I have a query about an article I saw in the local newspaper which I can't find any details of. I've tried all different ways of finding out about this issue but to no avail. Thanks.

Automatic gearbox issue
My (automatic) car is a little sluggish and judders slightly when shfting gears above 40 mph. It doesn't sound serious but it could be indicative of something wrong with the gearbox. The warranty (which covers gearbox failure) on it will expire in September this year. I was wondering: * whether there are any garages (inc…

Lack of driver legroom in zafira!
I was all set to buy a zafira until I took one for a test drive and it felt very cramped in the drivers seat. I drive a ford focus at the moment and it feels so much roomier and I can almost keep my legs straight unlike the zafira! Are all the models the same, I tried an Exclusiv(2008)? What are the Touran/Toyota verso…

Insurance claim - named driver's licence revoked
I've just had a conference call with Elephant and the DVLA and been told my driving licence was revoked back in 2006 (this is the first I'm aware of this). The claim is for the theft of my ex's car from outside her house - I was a named driver on the policy though I haven't driven the car for nearly a year. Will this…

Sold a car - now paranoid
We sold a car at the weekend for just over £4K (not an awful lot, and we had dropped £600 because we could not afford to keep it insured and sitting out in the road). The advert was simple, the people turned up, had a good look around it (under bonnet, in boot, looked underneath, looked at all the paperwork and service…

Commuting through Dartford Crossing
I'm soon to be commuting to a new job in Hertfordshire (A10ish) from East Sussex (A21). I've done the trip already for interviews and, on a good run, it's only an hour an half. This works for me as I've been commuting by train to London and that takes at least 2 hours. However, I have to contend with the Dartford Crossing…

milage
Hi All, I was just wondering what sort of milage I should typically expect to be able to get from a 2008 ford fiesta or indeed most newish cars these days? I know it will be very much dependant on how well maintained they are; so let assume its serviced by ford each year occording to their schedual. I typically do about…

Handing Back Car on Finance
We have a car on finance and into the 3rd year of a 5 year finance deal. Recently we have had twins and we also have a 12 year old so this car which is a Mini is now way too small for our family. We want to get a bigger car but the garage/finance company are not interested unless we give them £2000 to clear the finance and…
