scrap or repair?
A driver went into the back of my car and so I made a claim. They have offered to repair it but I'm tempted to scrap it as I think it would cost more to repair and supply a hire car. Should I get the choice or are the insurance companies thinking more of getting their cut from the repair?

'Truvelo' speeding
I was definitely speeding when I went through one, it had just changed from a 70 to 60 (from 2 lanes into 1). I realised that as I went through it, and must have been going at least 68/69, so I'm over the 10% that's apparently allowed? I know 1mph over is an offence etc, and fair enough if they do me for it - I was…

I recently passed my driving test and would love to buy a new car, but I need to do it on a budget. I've never bought a car before and don't know where to start!
