roadworks people forgot to repaint the give way sign back on

I've done a couple of trips through this road.
link here
I was driving eastwards through devas street and quite a few times cars coming out of twelvetrees crescent joining devas street have come out dangerously far. the road has very faint give way signs, perhaps even missing altgoether because when I was coming out of twelvetrees cresent once I didn't see any give way road markings or post signs which made me unsure about what to do.
Is there anything I could do? Write to some?

They are quite warn in the google images but common sense should tell people to give way and I dont think repainting the lines will change the way some people drive.
You can contact streets section of the council responsible about it but dont expect anything to be done about it for a while.0 -
Phone the council, but the other drivers must be dangerousy thick if they cant roll up to a T junction and treat it as anything else.0

Next time you are unsure about what to do, try closing your eyes, honking your horn and putting your foot down.
Works for me everytime ... :cool:0 -

wish there was a downvite button for this cr*p
yeah on Google images it's visible because it's several years old. But there is no give way sign present right now.0 -
I've driven that junction in both directions dozens of times and can't remember if there ever was a Give Way sign on a post. I believe the triangle painted in the road and the double lines are equivalent. I suppose if there were no markings visible at all it becomes an unmarked junction with no priority but like colino says, only an idiot would not expect to give way anyway.I need to think of something new here...0

1 I'm sorry OP but there is clearly double dashed give way road markings on Twelvetrees Cres although they are somewhat worn if turning right.
2 Added to that there appears to be a warning triangle to give way painted on the road, although mostly obscured by the silver car waiting to turn right.
However, as one has to give way from Twelvetrees Cres I'd say this is definately a warning triangle to give way.
3 Further, there is a yellow beacon on the island of Twelvetrees Cres, at the junction, giving a positive instruction, yet another alert.
4 We are unable to see what other indicators there are coming from Twelvetrees Cres, because I'm sure there would be as the approach includes a very keen bend and, it appears, an emerge from a tunnel.
5 Despite the above, even if all those alerts were missing one should be driving accordingly anyway.
Country lanes often have no road markings but one is careful at those junctions, and give way if need be.
6 Coming directly out of Twelvetrees Cres there are a block of flats, yet another alert to stop and give way!!!
What should you do? Get your eyes tested if you missed all those alerts and/or improve your driving skills.
There is absolutely nothing of concern here.
Unbelievable driving incompetence.0 -
People are coming out looking for an oppotunity for a quick escape, bright red flashing neons on the road are not going to stop that. The junction looks fine to me.0

Just highlighting this bit because it seems some people have missed it.0 -

This. It'll go onto the list, but since lining contractors have a minimum charge for visiting site you'll need to wait until there's enough work in the area to make it worthwhile. Still worth reporting.0
