Buying a new car
I recently passed my driving test and would love to buy a new car, but I need to do it on a budget.
I've never bought a car before and don't know where to start! I looked at Peugeot's 'just add fuel' deal, but I believe you need a certain number of years driving experience before you can do it, so I need to buy something now to start getting that experience.
I want to buy secondhand and I live in Bristol, but I have no idea where are good places to go/what sort of things to check when buying a secondhand car. I don't even know how many miles on the clock is too many!
Can anyone offer me any advice?
Thanks

How many miles do you expect to drive in a year? Will it mostly be local or long distance driving? How old are you? Roughly how much do you want to spend?0

Just add fuel deal has a mileage limit of 6667 pa,then excess mileage fees apply mind.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.

And it's for new cars, isn't it, and the OP wants to buy secondhand.
If you are planning on doing 20k miles in 3 years you don't need a new car.0 -
Considering your insurance costs will be sky high, cheap and cheerful might be best.0

The best advice I could give about buying a used car is don't take my dad!0

It wouldn't be a lot of driving - mainly around Bristol and occasionally travelling to and from Cornwall to see family. I'm 22 and I want to spend as little as possible! I have some savings, so I could spend a bit more for something that will last longer.
I'm definitely thinking secondhand is the way forward.0 -

I wouldnt recommend the 1.0,it'll hardly move-far too small engine for a relatively heavy car.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.
